Senior Manager, Business Development and Partnerships

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic individual to lead business development and partnerships, focusing on expanding MASH’s impact on its communities

Responsibilities

 

Business Development

• Identify and define new business opportunities including untapped markets, potential clients, and strategic initiatives.
• Market Strategy and Growth: Design and execute strategies for market expansion in areas such as sustainability consulting, SDG-related solutions, capacity-building initiatives, and other fee-based services.
• Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of business proposals, pitch decks, and presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders and their needs.
• Study and analyze market trends and the social impact ecosystem to drive sustainable growth.

 

Partnerships

• Strategic collaborations: Build, manage and nurture relationships with existing and potential partners, including corporates, development agencies, and philanthropic organizations.
• Stakeholder engagement: Liaison with high-profile partners, ensuring alignment with MASH’s mission and creating joint value propositions.
• Act as the main point of contact to address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft customised solutions and ensure seamless delivery.

 

Leadership and Advocacy

• Representation: Represent MASH at global events, forums, and conferences to promote partnerships and organizational goals.
• Thought Leadership: Publish articles, host webinars, and engage in knowledge-sharing to position MASH as an industry leader in business development and partnerships.

 

Operations and Team Leadership

• Metrics and Reporting: Develop KPIs to measure partnership success and provide detailed analysis for stakeholders.
• Team Management: Mentor and lead a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and achieving team goals.

 

Other Areas

• Communications: Collaborate with the Communications team to create impactful materials that align with partnership objectives.
• Event Management: Organize partnership-driven events such as roundtables, conferences, and workshops

Requirements

 

Strategic Thinking

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies for business growth and partnerships.

 

Networking Skills

Strong presence on professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and experience in networking with C-suite executives and thought leaders.


Sector Expertise

Knowledge of sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and social impact sectors.
Expertise in Community Organisations: Deep understanding of organisations and associations such as the World Economic Forum, CII, TiE, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, Global Shapers, UNLEASH, etc.

 

Communications

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform decision-making.
