Events Communications Specialist

The Events Communications Specialist will manage all communication aspects related to events, including social media planning, design briefs, media relations, and post-event content production. This role acts as a key liaison between clients, design teams, and production teams, ensuring the timely delivery of all event communication collateral. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in event communications, project management, and public relations, with a background in handling both social media and media outreach for events.

Responsibilities

 

Event Communication & Collateral Management

Develop design briefs for event materials (social media, print, digital) and collaborate with teams to ensure brand alignment and timely delivery.

 

Social Media Management

Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, monitor performance, and adjust strategies to enhance engagement.

 

Media Relations & PR

Prepare media kits and press releases, liaise with media outlets for coverage, and build relationships with media contacts to maximize event exposure.

 

Video Production Management

Oversee coordination of event recordings and manage the production of post-event video content.

 

Post-Event Communications

Lead the creation of post-event materials (reports, photo galleries, video content) and prepare media recaps for follow-up PR efforts.

 

Collaboration & Project Management

Work with internal teams to align communication efforts with event objectives, ensuring consistency and timely delivery of materials while analyzing performance metrics for future improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with media outlets and managing press relations for events.
  • Familiarity with event video production and post-event content creation is a plus.
