Senior Associate, Programs

Responsibilities

 

1. Program Coordination and Execution

  • • Lead the implementation of assigned programs, ensuring timely execution of planned activities.
  • • Coordinate with internal and external teams to align on program objectives, activities and deliverables
  • • Support implementation by liaising with local partners and other program/ community stakeholders.
  • • Identify challenges in program execution and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • • Ensure adherence to programmatic timelines and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

2. Stakeholder and Partnership Management

•  Engage with government bodies, donors, NGOs, community-based organisations, and other relevant stakeholders/ partners to strengthen program outreach and impact.

•. Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment with program goals.

•  Represent MASH at stakeholder meetings, consultations, and networking events.

 

 

3. Planning, Reporting, and Documentation 

•  Develop and maintain program work plans and trackers, and reporting mechanisms.

•  Prepare timely reports, case studies, and impact stories for internal and external stakeholders.

•  Document best practices to improve program efficiency.

•  Support in developing communication materials to showcase program impact.

 

4. Budget & Resource Management

•  Assist in budget planning and allocation for program activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
•  Track expenditures and monitor resource utilisation.
•  Support in developing grant proposals and funding applications for program sustainability.

 

5. Research

•  Conduct secondary research to identify best practices, policy trends, and innovative approaches in the program’s focus areas.
•  Support needs assessments and baseline studies to inform program design and implementation.
•  Stay updated on sectoral developments and contribute to thought leadership initiatives within the organisation.

Requirements

 

  • •  Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of experience in implementing climate-focused programs. Prior experience engaging with or working on initiatives for youth is highly preferred.
  • •  Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • •  Strong organisational skills and a meticulous approach to work.
  • •  A passion for social impact.
  • •  Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
